Ingredients
- 6 Eggplants (small)
- 6 Tomatoes
- 1 small onion
- 1 small pepper
- Salt
- Allspice
- Vegeta seasoning
- Tomato paste
Instructions
- Make a bed of onions and pepper on the bottom of a tray. Chop up thick slices of eggplant and thick slices of tomatoes.
- Mix one tablespoon of salt and teaspoon of allspice to a pound of ground beef. Create small patties out of the meat about the same size as the tomatoes and eggplant and place them, the tomatoes, and the eggplants in sequence around the tray standing up. Sprinkle vegeta seasoning over entire tray when finished. Take two tablespoons of tomato paste and dilute it in 1 cup of water then pour into tray.
- Bake in oven at 350 degrees for thirty minutes uncovered then cover with foil and bake for another thirty (1 hour total). Eat with pita bread.
